The stuff that leaked out the plastic bag

Home for the holidays. Opened the fridge and in the vegetable drawer was some mushy black goo in a clear plastic bag. Some poor fruit or vegetable well past its prime. When I threw it away, some liquid spilled onto the floor, my hands. It took several washes to get the smell out.
